Your real Vinted profit, item by item
An item sold for £20 does not earn you £20. Between the cost price, boosts and packaging, the real profit is somewhere else — Fripilot works it out on every sale.
Start for free →From selling price to real profit
For each sale, Fripilot starts from the amount you received and takes off the item's cost price. You get the margin as an amount and as a percentage, plus the multiple (×3, ×5…) that tells you at a glance whether your sourcing holds up.
The costs that eat into your margin
Boosts, wardrobe spotlights, packaging, labels, subscriptions: the invoices Vinted issues for your boosts come in on their own, and you add your other costs as one-off or recurring. The result you see is a net result, not a flattering turnover figure.
What really pays, and what does not
Margin reads per item, per month, per brand, per type of garment and per source. You see which brands pay for your time, which bales were false bargains, and you compare one period with the previous one or with the same period last year.
What if I do not know my cost price?
The sale is counted, but without a margin. Fripilot lists the items sold without a cost price so you can fill them in at once, straight in the table.
Does postage distort the calculation?
No. On Vinted the buyer pays for postage: the margin is computed on the item price you receive.
What about a consignment item?
The cost price is the share paid back to the consignor: your margin is your commission. Fripilot does the sum on every sale (Pro plan).
