What to sell on Vinted in November: winter sells now, Christmas gets listed now

3 November 2026 · 6 min read

November is the month when winter sells and Christmas gets prepared. If you're wondering what to sell on Vinted in November, the answer comes in two parts: what buyers wear right now (coats, boots, chunky knits) and what they'll buy in three weeks (Christmas jumpers, party outfits, gifts). The seller who wins December is the one who listed it in November.

Where our benchmarks come from: our latest market measurements stop in mid-September. The figures below date from the autumn shift, measured in August on the French market; we have no November figures and we won't invent any.

What to sell on Vinted in November: winter in full swing

Between June and late July, the share of coats, puffers and parkas in sales had already almost doubled (+96%). Then, between the first and second half of August: boots and ankle boots +41%, coats and puffers +21%, jumpers, sweatshirts and cardigans +12%. By November these pieces are no longer about anticipation: this is the season.

  • Coats, puffers, parkas: median price around €10 in late August, but good pieces (wool, outdoor brands) often went beyond €25-40.
  • Boots and ankle boots: the biggest rise measured going into autumn, with a median of about €11.
  • Chunky knits: wool jumpers, roll necks, thick cardigans. High volume, low unit price: ideal for bundles.

Christmas jumpers and party outfits: early November, not mid-December

A Christmas jumper listed on 15 December is too late: by the time it's seen, bought and posted, the party is over. Apply the 3-4 weeks before the need rule: Christmas jumpers, sequin dresses, smart shirts and party accessories go online in the first half of November. That gives them time to collect favourites and climb the search results. Put the words buyers type in the title: "Christmas jumper", the size, the colour.

Christmas gifts on Vinted: condition makes the sale

Some November buyers are shopping for others. For them, condition isn't a detail: an item new with tags sells as a gift, a "very good condition" item sells as second-hand. Say it in the title and show the tag in a photo. Complete toys, gift sets, accessories (scarves, hats, bags) and spotless branded pieces all fit here. If you have a whole batch to list, our sister app FriShot writes the listing from 3 photos (title, description, hashtags, suggested price).

Ski and winter sports: list them now

Ski suits, jackets and trousers, gloves, goggles, base layers: buyers kit themselves out before they leave, not on the slopes. List in November for the winter trips; in January you'll be buried among every other seller.

Black Friday: the seller's side takes preparation

At the end of November buyers compare and haggle more. Should you cut prices, and on which items? We covered the strategy in our Black Friday guide for sellers.

Posting before Christmas: plan ahead

Delivery times depend on the carriers and often stretch at the end of the year: we won't give you a cut-off date, it isn't ours to set. The simple rule: post as soon as the sale is confirmed and keep packaging and labels to hand. For the rest of the year end, our guide to preparing the fourth quarter has you covered.

Restocking for winter

If your winter stock is running low, now is the time to top it up: the article on what to sell in October already listed the pieces to look for. If you run consignment in France, there is another route: jeconfiemesvetements.fr, a French directory from Fripilot's publisher that lists only sellers based in France. Private individuals describe the batch of clothes they want to entrust (brands, volume, condition, photos) and their request goes to a professional consignment seller. It's free on both sides and the site takes no commission: winter stock without buying it upfront. Seller profiles are checked before they go live.
